The Industrial Materials Institute (Boucherville, QC) will establish a Technology Group to carry out pre-competitive research on polymer nanocomposites, called PNC-Tech. PNC-Tech’s objective is to “develop a fundamental understanding of the phenomena governing the manufacture and processing of polymer nanocomposite systems … and transfer this understanding to industry.” Participants will receive privileged access to the results of the R&D program and direct input into its orientation.
