Higher torque for twin-screw extruders

The Leistritz HP series of twin-screw extruders enable screw rpm of up to 1200 with a 30 percent increase in translated torque via modified splined shafts. The HP series is targeted for compounding and masterbatch processes.

On display in Dusseldorf were the HP version ZSE-50mm twin screw system with water ring peletizer, a HP ZSE-60mm model equipped with two-side stuffers, and a ZSE-100mm with special barrels configuration.
