A high-performance tertiary hindered amine light stabilizaer (HALS), CYASORB UV 3529, is said to be the first of its type on the polymer additives market to be sanctioned as an indirect food additive by the FDA.
Data on CYASORB UV 3529 light stabilizer shows low reactivity towards co-additives and environmental agents, making it an excellent choice for pesticide resistance and lower pigment interaction. Applications for CYASORB UV 3529 include PP fiber, rotational molding and agricultural film.
Lower pigment interaction leads to dramatic improvements in color yield and UV stabilization in colored plastic applications.
