Zed Industries has designed its newest line of sheet-fed heavy gauge thermoformers, with form areas from 25 in. x 30 in. to 144 in. x 144 in. and depths of draw up to 36 in. and greater, handling sheet thicknesses up to 1/4 inch.
The upper and lower all welded steel platens move independently and are gear-
stabilized on all four corners on the larger machines. The sheet clamp frame moves the sheet out of the oven on a timed cycle or on the command from an optional sheet temperature or drape sensor. The machines come with vacuum systems and calrod or multizone ceramic top and bottom heaters.
Options include color touchscreen, computer operator interfaces, servo driven platens and larger vacuum systems. Zed also offers complete tooling design and manufacture to support its machines.
