Olympia Lighting Products’ Bar-B-Que Light casts a clean, white light for nighttime grilling, subjecting the resin to the heat of both a halogen bulb and of the grill itself. Olympia chose RTP Company’s RTP 105CC heat-stabilized, glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene. The innovative product and its resin features a heat deflection temperature of 315F at 264 PSI and is UV stabilized for outdoor weatherability. The new application also spawned a new set of UL standards. RTP 105CC is precolored black to eliminate painting.
