Another kitchen staple has converted to plastic. Folgers is the first manufacturer to package roast and ground coffee in a plastic container. The canister is available across Canada, and will ultimately replace all Folgers metal coffee cans.
Branded as the AromaSeal Canister, the package has a snap-tight lid, a foil seal and an easy-grip handle molded in.
The peel-off seal has a built-in, one-way valve which permits the natural coffee de-gassing to occur without allowing outside air into the canister. The coffee can now be packed warm from the roaster.
The multi-layer blow-molded canister is made of HDPE with moisture and oxygen barriers.
