German blow molding machinery manufacturer NOVAPAX is entering the North American market with a line of four-station injection blow molding machines featuring a horizontal, reciprocating plastifier design. The fourth station is especially useful for processing PET, PP and heavy-walled containers, and for other applications that require external heat transfer of the core rods.

Machine preform clamp sizes range from 44 to 138 tons, with molding capacities comparable to those of three-station machines in the same clamp tonnage range.

With the fourth station, cycle times are faster, due to the shorter 90-degree transfer between stations, particularly when the fourth station is being used for heat transfer purposes.

A closed-loop Siemens Simatic S7 programmable control system is standard.
