Foaming agent suits engineering resins

For engineering polymers and moisture sensitive polymers, Endex has introduced two high-performance endothermic chemical foaming agent masterbatches. Endex 1010 and 1011 decompose to yield carbon dioxide as the foaming gas.

Applications include injection molded structural foam polycarbonate parts and extruded foamed PET sheet.

Very fine cell structures, smooth sufaces, superior physical property retention, and reduced cycle times or higher extrusion rates, are said to be benefits of the new foaming agents.
