The new generation RSFgenius filtration system from Gneuss is characterized by a newly developed insulation of the screen changer which has resulted in a reduction of the energy necessary for heating the unit by approximately 40 per cent compared to conventional continuous screen changers. This further reduces the operating costs for this screen changer.

The RSFgenius operates with minimal running costs, energy consumption and waste.

In addition, with the new insulation the RSFgenius now fulfills the requirements of DIN EN 563:2000 when processing most materials. All surface temperatures have to be below 140F (60C), so there is no risk of burns during short contacts.

The RSFgenius can be used for all types of polymers, offers minimal melt residence time, an active filtration area up to 800 square inches (5.100 cm), and does not impact the process during filter changes.
