Raytek Corporation has launched two new extrusion process imaging systems. The EC100 is specifically designed to monitor film extrusion, extrusion coating and lamination processes. It continuously monitors the melt curtain temperature distribution to insure adequate film-to-substrate adhesion, and features the unique ability to automatically detect imperfections such as wavy or running edges, temperature gaps and edge tears.
The ES100 system provides an advanced capability for monitoring temperature distributions of extruded sheet and cast film. It provides the ability to configure any number of measurement sectors for each die bolt on flat dies extruders. Both systems have proven their effectiveness on extrusion coating and lamination machines in Europe.
