Double angle cutter/puller system

Versa Machinery has introduced a new line of Double Angle Cutter/Puller Systems for cutting extruded products requiring angular cuts. The line is designed to perform cuts on tubing or profiles for products such as medical tubing, hose, window seals and gaskets.

The system includes two servo cutters and an integrated feed system with length control and batches counter. A six-inch touch screen interface makes setup and operation easy, and the Servo Driven Caterpillar feed is electronically linked to the cutter control.

Cuts are made at rotational speeds of up to 1600 RPM. Three modes of operation are available — double angle cutting, single angle using one cutter, or single angle using the second cutter.

Double angle mode offers a continuous cutting speed of up to 400 cuts per minute, and single angle mode is up to 300 cuts per minute. Maximum material capacity is one inch when cutting 45 degree or 90-degree angles, and a maximum width or diameter capacity of 0.350 inches when cutting angles of 30 degrees or 60 degrees.
