EXPOPLAST 2005: Jumpstarting your business through innovation

Quebec’s booming plastics industry pulls in about $5 billion each year; but the province’s plastics trade show, Expoplast, takes place only every three years. No plastics processor, equipment vendor or materials supplier can afford to miss Expoplast 2005, taking place October 25 and 26 in Montreal.

Featuring over 300 of the industry’s leading suppliers from Canada and around the world, Expoplast attracts the “who’s who” of the plastics industry in Canada and the northeastern U.S.

This year, Expoplast is taking place at the architecturally avant-garde Palais des Congrs de Montreal, Montreal’s first convention centre.

Right now, the Canadian plastics industry is experiencing intense competition from emerging markets in China, India and Eastern Europe. The only way to succeed is through innovation, a theme which the Canadian Plastics Industry Association (CPIA), organizers of Expoplast 2005, has made the focal point of this year’s conference.
