The new version EIT (Efficiency Improvement Tool) 5.0 enabling system from Sidel uses NET architecture to gather 24/7 production data, providing a wide array of metrics to help users analyze production issues, better fine-tune the line, reduce unplanned downtime, improve working methods and enhance maintenance to increase output.

Available to customers everywhere operating Sidel and other blow molding equipment, the EIT 5.0 offers increased flexibility for customizing reports, integrating end-users specifications and interfacing with ERPs and legacy systems.

The system incorporates various MES (Manufacturing Execution System) functions and comprises multiple modules addressing different concerns: efficiency increase, quality control, waste reduction and benchmark analysis.

The system displays selected information on a giant electronic panel, offering high visibility throughout the plant. A line’s layout and machines’ status are displayed very intuitively through a system of colour coding.

Through a browser, the user is able to gain actionable insight into plant floor processes and performance. Like prior versions, the new EIT 5.0 system offers reliability, relevancy, standardization and insight into production.
