Nucon has developed the Continuous Desiccant Dryer using a desiccant wheel technology and continuous regeneration to maintain a stable dew point.
Energy conservation modes are integrated, and the machines offer smooth quiet operation with minimal moving parts.
The desiccant wheel is constructed of a polymeric substrate impregnated with a molecular sieve. The desiccant is permanently bonded to the substrate, eliminating the potential contamination of resins from deterioration of conventional desiccant beads.
For easy maintenance, the gear motor is easily accessible and features a rotation sensor. The PLC and operator interface are standard, off-the-shelf units. A change-over of the desiccant wheel cassette can be completed in less than 20 minutes.
