Control drive ideal for converting applications

The Uni drive V3 drive from Control Techniques Drives, contains third generation software for enhancing performance and simplifying operations. The Unidrive delivers precise tension control for extrusion and co-extrusion, unwind/wind, orienting, calendering, coating, drying, splitting and other applications. The V3 operates in standard V/Hz, open- and closed-loop vector, and AC servo modes. The keypad of the CT Unisoft Windows-based commissioning software allows for quick and easy changing of the control mode.

Programming and start-up time is reduced with user application macros.

The Unidrive V3 can be customized with application modules, which also expand the I/O, communications and control capabilities. The new cloning module allows users to store up to eight sets of parameters, and to download those into another drive. Customer programs and customized applications can also be saved and easily accessed through the drive keypad.
