FGL Precision Works Ltd. has recently achieved registration to the ISO 9001 quality standard. FGL, a manufacturer of molds for the injection molding industry, acquired its ISO registration only nine months after making the decision to pursue registration, according to FGL’s vice-president Tom Meisels. “We are very proud of the fact that we were recommended for registration after our first audit,” says Meisels. He reports that implementing ISO has resulted in a number of operational improvements, most notably, significantly improved delivery times.
