Compounds make connectors safe, strong

For its electrical lighting connectors, Advanced Devices, Inc. uses RTP Company’s compounds for its 20, 60 and 100 amp models. The 20 amp version uses a strong, very high heat reinforced compound with a UL-94 V-0 flammability rating and a thermal deflection temperature of 400F. For the 60 and 100 amp models, which needed stronger material, RTP produced a stronger material without sacrificing thermal properties.
