Roger Keeley , a familiar figure in the plastics packaging industry in Canada, received a Canplast award at the 5th annual CPIA Gala and Blue Ribbon Ball in May. Keeley is general manager of the Polyethylene Division for Atlantic Packaging Products Ltd, based in Scarborough, Ont. A native of Vancouver, Keeley has been with Atlantic Packaging for 28 years, where he has held a number of positions, starting in sales. Keeley is a certified sales professional, and a past chairman of the board of directors of the Canadian Plastic Film Manufacturers Association. Keeley says he is surprised, but delighted to win a Canplast award. “It’s an honor to be recognized by an industry I’ve worked so long in and hold in high regard.” Keeley lives in Markham, Ont. with his wife Jill and their five children.
