Canadian-built Buick Regal rated most reliable

The latest Consumer Reports vehicle guide has rated the Oshawa-built Buick Regal as the most reliable family sedan. The influential publication, which has a history of giving lower marks to the Big Three’s product line, rated GM’s Regal above the likes of the Nissan Maxima and the Toyota Camry. Industry experts have long recognized the Oshawa, ON, plant’s consistently high quality and efficiency. Oshawa has built the Regal since 1998. The plant will cease producing the sedan next year, when it is scheduled to start making the new Buick LaCrosse.
