Camoplast Buys Segment of Bombardier

Transportation industry supplier Camoplast Inc. (Sherbrooke, QC) has purchased the industrial vehicle division of Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. The sale includes a facility in Granby, QC, which produces snow grooming machines and tracked vehicles used by the natural resources, telecom and energy industries.

Camoplast manufactures rubber tracks, and composite and plastic components aimed at agricultural, recreational, transportation and industrial markets. The company has more than 1800 employees at 12 manufacturing sites in Canada, the U.S., Mexico and Europe.
