Davis-Standard’s model 1150 turret centre winder fills the gap between the company’s high-performance winder and less costly alternatives. “We recently added high-tech electronics such as AC flux vector drives and touch screen operator controls that separate this winder from similar winders on the market,” says Rick Keller, industry director of Davis-Standard’s blown film systems.
The model 1150 is capable of winding speeds from 50 to 250 feet per minute, and features an integral lower nip, in-line slitting for multiple rolls and phantom axis turrets to minimize top turret height.
