OPTIMIZED FOR SOFT-TOUCH BOTTLES

Jomar has expanded its extrusion blow molding line with a machine suitable for two-layer, “soft-touch” cosmetic PP and HDPE bottles. The Model 6-D is an alternating shuttle machine equipped with a two-layer (W. Mueller) die head. The new version features higher production capability with an extended center distance (3 x 140 mm), increased clamping force (15 tons), and a re-designed carriage to reduce energy consumption.

ACHIEVE LARGER PARISON LAYFLATS FOR BIG PARTS

A 30-lb. Davis-Standard Sterling accumulator head with spiral diverter technology will be on display at NPE, equipped with increased tooling capability of up to 559 mm (22 in.).

The spiral diverter design provides optimal parison wall distribution by balancing delivery of material around the head.

The large tooling capability allows blow molders to producer large “parison layflats” required for the production of large flat panels and other sizeable pieces.
