Mold-Masters has enhanced its family of Flex-Dura hot-runners, specially designed for the production of automotive parts, in-mold decoration and large-part applications. Each system is fully assembled and tested before being shipped, ensuring immediate tool integration and quick start-up. As well, Flex-Dura hot runners are equipped with an electro-box, which incorporates all electronic and thermocouple wires into the one unit.
Sized for shots up to 3500 g per nozzle, with runner sizes from 6 to 18 mm, these systems feature extra-long nozzles and allow for injection on the core side of the tool, away from the show surface. The nozzle lengths are supplied according to specific design requirements, facilitating the design of molds of irregular shapes.
