Cumberland Engineering is introducing the 2000 series granulator at NPE. The central, medium-duty granulator series will replace two similar-sized, Italian-made granulators the company had previously offered.
The 2000 series is available with three new infeed sizes, and offers a throughput range from 1800 to 2600 lb./hr., making it ideal for thermoforming processes, central granulation of blow molded components, and volume processing of scrap from any type of polymer processing operation. Major design elements incorporated in the granulator include a lower infeed height, a twin shear knife configuration for increased cutting efficiency, and special discharge to improve air flow and machine evacuation.
