IMS Company has added Posi-Trol Screw Tips to its line of plastics auxiliary equipment. The screw tips, which are the first IMS product marketed under the IMSelect brand name, offer superior shut-off performance for more consistent part quality and long wear.
The Posi-Trol’s three-piece construction features a body and spherical retainer that will fit most valve sizes, requiring only a conical seat customized to the specific OEM design. The unique design also limits front seat wear, a problem that involves the ring wearing into the retainer, thereby reducing the life of the valve.
