Cyclonaire Corp. has introduced an innovative new railcar connector to streamline unloading from hopper-bottom cars. The CycloLift is designed to reduce spillage and speed up the job of mating conventional railcar boot lift connectors with hopper gates.
CycloLift comes the steel adapter plates that move longitudinally to speed alignment of the boot and cut down on railcar repositioning. Pneumatically-activated lifters raise the boot to mate it against the hopper slide gate.
A similar product is available for hopper bottom trucks.
