Moeller’s XSystem is a PLC, I/O, HMI and software all in one. This new automation system reduces the number of interfaces between components, and maximizes cost savings.
The use of a sandwich construction means that the controller can be flexibly scaled.
XSoft is the automation software that handles programming, hardware configuration, process display and bus connections. Also part of XSystem is XI/ON, a modular I/O system that permits direct installation without coupling relay/contractor. XI/ON can be directly mounted to the Xcontrol or onto a decentralized gateway structure (Profibus-DP, CAN open, DeviceNet).
