PartTrack reduces cycle times

Wittman’s PartTrack functionality can now be with its entire line of top entry robots (with CNC 6 and higher controls) for applications requiring synchronized operation between the robot and parts in motion on conveyors or during mold opening.

It offers advantages for thermoforming and injection molding applications, where parts need to be handled by the robot while on conveyors, or to assist with removing/stripping parts from the mold. PartTrack can also be applied to many secondary applications from “peeling” thermoformed parts from their web to placing injection-molded parts on a constantly running paint conveyor.

Estimated cycle savings can range up to 15% depending on the application. PartTrack works over the entire range of speeds from each servo driven axis of the robot, offering maximum flexibility across a broad range of applications.
