ATS Founder Dies

Klaus Woerner, founder and president of ATS Automation Tooling Systems Inc. (Cambridge, ON), passed away Feb. 7 following a battle with cancer. He was 65.

Lawrence Tapp, non-executive Chairman of the Board of ATS, described Woerner as “a gifted engineer, entrepreneur and business leader.”

Ron Jutras is the new president and CEO of ATS. He joined ATS in 1985 and was most recently executive vice-president, COO and chief financial officer.
