Advanced instrument for press force monitoring

Cincinnati Test Systems has introduced the SAM 400 Press Force Signature Analysis Module, an advanced multi-station instrument for any press force monitoring operation.

The SAM 400 can handle up to two independent press station operations, with each station programmable to 32 parts and eight tolerance windows. Up to six additional stations can be programmed through the SAM 400 display, with the addition of up to three SAM 400 slave units.

Additional features and specifications include forward and backward measurement capability; two channels of force measurement (analog, strain gauge or Piezo); two channels of distance measurement (inductive, resistive, analog, incremental or SSI); torque (strain gauge or analog, angle: incremental); and Ethernet, Serial, Parallel, Profibus and Fieldbus communications.
