With manufacturing on the upswing, the Canadian Plastics Sector Council (CPSC) is launching a new report on labour markets and human resource management in plastics processing.

The report is being undertaken in association with Toronto-based Prism Economics and Analysis.

“Your participation is essential to finding solutions,” the Ottawa-based CPSC said. “To participate in and profit from this process, watch for updates on research progress in industry media and association sites.”

Companies that fill out the survey can win high value prizes, CPSC said.

Study findings in summary and detailed form will be available in late 2012.

In addition to the CPSC, the update is being supported by the Canadian Plastics Industry Association, the Society of Plastics Engineers, FEPAC, Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters, Plasticompetence, and Canadian Plastics magazine.

The CPSC’s original 2007 study is available at this link.
