Hot runner manufacturer Mold-Masters Limited is following up a recent expansion into India by growing its sales and service organization in Asia, Europe and the Americas.
Due to what the Georgetown, Ont.-based company described as “rapid business development” in Asia, Mold-Masters has opened new direct sales offices in Taiwan, and in Seoul, South Korea. These facilities will offer sales and technical support, as well as local spare parts inventory for local clients. The company has also restructured their organization in South China so that clients in Hong Kong will be serviced directly by Mold-Masters.
In Europe, Mold-Masters has enhanced their local presence in Spain and France. The company recently opened a new Mold-Masters branch office in Barcelona, Spain to help strengthen its support to its packaging and automotive clients in the region. Additionally, Mold-Masters France has opened a new sales and service centre in Bondoufle, France, just south of Paris.
In the Americas, Mold-Masters is opening a new sales and service centre in the Toluca, Mexico area. The new Mexican sales and service centre is designed to facilitate local sales, service, spare parts, repair and support needs. It will encompass hot runner maintenance and repairs, as well as full support for iPET Systems, the company’s PET division, including maintenance and refurbishments. It is due to be in full operation by summer 2010.
“Mexico will continue to expand as a production region within North America” said Doug Hugo, director of North America Sales. “With local technical and logistical expertise being more critical than ever the centre in Toluca, combined with our growing network of support staff throughout the country, will further enhance our ability to serve local and global clients”.
