There’s a new PVC compounds producer in Europe, as Ineos Compounds and Doeflex Compounding UK have agreed to combine their respective PVC compounding businesses.

There’s a new PVC compounds producer in Europe, as Ineos Compounds and Doeflex Compounding UK have agreed to combine their respective PVC compounding businesses.

 

Known as Ineos Compounds, the newly combined business has an integrated management team from both entities, with a turnover in excess of Euro 200 million and manufacturing sites in the UK, Sweden, and Switzerland.

“This combination represents a strategic opportunity for both parties and is highly complementary to our long term growth strategy,” said Jonathan Stewart, COO of Ineos Compounds. “Customers will benefit from access to an extended product range; improved supply chain flexibility and combined expertise leading to improved technical and manufacturing production capability.”

 

The deal was first announced in May 2014, and required clearance from the European Commission to proceed. The deal was completed on Sept. 1.
