The Canadian Association of Mold Makers (CAMM) and the Canadian Federation of Plastics and Alliances Composites (FEPAC Canada) have entered into a strategic partnership an effort to create new network opportunities and bring extra value to their members.

“We’re moving to a new era of collaboration and mutual synergy to raise the global Canadian plastics-composites industry value chain to a world class level,” said Pierre Fillion, president and CEO of Boucherville, Que.-based FEPAC Canada.

The associations plan on joining resources and infrastructures to develop new competencies, Fillion continued, and also to co-organise trade and technology missions around the world.

“This alliance represents the new Canadian and national business model of associations serving the interests of the industry for a stronger Canada,” said Dan Moynahan, president of Windsor, Ont.-based CAMM. “Teaming CAMM and FEPAC Canada will bring higher benefits and reward to the entire industry.”
