Duxton Windows & Doors, a Winnipeg-based manufacturer of pultruded fiberglass windows and doors, has moved into new 18,000-square foot facility.
In acquiring the new facility, the company has nearly doubled its manufacturing space. “This has allowed us to expand our window fabrication capabilities, accommodating additional production lines and new technology to help streamline manufacturing operations,” the company said in a news release. “Also, multiple dock level loading bays will allow for better material and window handling.”
Pultrusion is the process of pulling material, such as fiberglass and resin, through a shaped die.
Duxton Windows’ new area will accommodate a meeting room and showroom, as well as additional office space for future growth. “While in transition, a temporary product display is available for viewing,” the company said.
Founded in 1999, Duxton Windows specializes in fiberglass reinforced plastic windows, as well as the development of a range of modular window accessories.
