Wentworth acquires U.S. moldmaker

Mississauga, ON-based Wentworth Technologies Co., Ltd. has purchased Jersey Mold Inc., a manufacturer of injection blow molds located in Millville, NJ. The acquisition is consistent with Wentworth’s business strategy of supplying blow-molding technology and capacity on a global basis, according to release issued by the company.
Wentworth has acquired 10 mold manufacturing companies in the last six years, and now has facilities in the U.S., UK, Poland and Singapore, in addition to Canada. The acquisition of Jersey Mold compliments the packaging capabilities of other individual Wentworth companies, which produce PET preform molds, blow molds, media packaging, technical and medical molds, and molds for thin-wall containers.
