Teknor Apex names new Chem Polymer V.P.

Resin manufacturer Teknor Apex Company has appointed Scott E. Fleming as vice president and business manager of its Chem Polymer engineering thermoplastic (ETP) subsidiary.
Fleming leaves his previous role as senior vice president in charge of sales and marketing with North Kingsville, Ohio-based plastics compounder Premix Inc.
“Our ETP business is now a global enterprise.” Bertram M. Lederer, senior vice president of Pawtucket, R.I.-based Teknor Apex, said. “Scott will draw on valuable executive experience in plastics compounding to provide strategic direction to Chem Polymer as it expands and diversifies.”
Fleming will be headquartered at the Fort Myers, Fla. facility of Chem Polymer.
