Peabody, Mass.-based Synventive Molding Solutions has received the Tooling Supplier of the Year award from Intier Automotive.
Jim Betters, tooling and processing technology manager, at Intier presented Bill Hume, president of Synventive North America, with the award.
"Synventive is receiving this award for a number of reasons," Betters, "We’ve worked with them for several years and have come to expect their on-time delivery and top quality products. In addition to that, over the past five years, we have produced over 17 million door panels, life gates and other parts with Synventive systems without a single lost-time event. For these reasons, they are receiving this award."
Intier is the automotive interiors division of Magna International.
