Swinimer steps down at PCL

Plastics’ industry veteran and businessman Bill Swinimer will retire from his role as CEO of PCL Packaging Corp., effective April 1, the company’s Board of Directors has announced. Swinimer will continue to serve as PCL’s chairman of the board. The position of CEO will not be replaced at this time.The company also announced that Paul Senov, president and CEO of Sentiovus Inc., will be joining PCL’s Board of Directors as executive director.Tim French will continue to serve as president and COO. French will be responsible for the financial performance of the company and lead the execution of board approved strategy.
Under Swinimer, Barrie, ON-based PCL has more than doubled in size and undertaken a number of strategic acquisitions.
