The Society of the Plastics Industry (SPI) has selected a group of plastics industry leaders to serve as the executive committee that will help to organize the National Plastics Exhibition (NPE) 2009, which will take place June 22-26, 2009 in Chicago, Ill.
Randy Pearson, of Xaloy Inc., in New Castle, Penn., has been selected chairman of the executive committee, with John Effmann of Entek Manufacturing Inc., based in Lebanon, Ore., serving as vice chairman.
Other members of the NPE 2009 executive committee include Tim Stojka, CEO of Fast Heat Inc., in Elmhurst, Ill.; Brian T. Bishop, president of Demag Plastics Group, based in Strongsville, Ohio; Larry Doyle, vice president of marketing for The Conair Group, in Pittsburgh, Penn.; Todd Bennett, president of United Southern Industries Inc., of Forest City, N.C.; and Vincent Witherup, vice president of The Conair Group.
All committee members are volunteers who will continue to carry out their corporate responsibilities while working on NPE 2009, the SPI said.
