SPE to hold technical conference at NPE 2009

The Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) will collaborate with the Society of the Plastics Industry, Inc. (SPI) to present hundreds of never before published papers at a technical conference to be held during the National Plastics Exhibition (NPE) trade show in Chicago in 2009.

SPIs NPE 2009 show will be held June 22-26 at Chicagos McCormick Place, and the SPE technical conference is scheduled to take place in the new McCormick West building.

While the SPE conference provides NPE visitors with a very large and diversified selection of high-quality technical presentations, SPI will present a concurrent educational programeven larger than in 2006on business and management issues, said William Carteaux, SPI president and CEO. The combination of exhibits and conferences at NPE2009 will be of a size and scope without counterpart among other plastics events, offering attendees the greatest possible return on their investment.
