Sartomer names new president

Global specialty chemicals manufacturer Sartomer Company Inc., based in Exton, Pa., has appointed Dr. Luigi Colantuoni as president.
Colantuoni replaces outgoing president Nicholas Trainer, who is retiring after 37 years with the company.
Colantuoni becomes responsible for general management of Sartomer, which reported US$470 million in 2006 sales. He will also be responsible for growing the hydrocarbon resins business in North and South America, which reported sales of US$130 million in 2006.
From 2000 to 2006, Colantuoni was president of specialty chemical supplier AtotechJapan and vice president of Atotech Far East.
Sartomer has 12 manufacturing sites worldwide, and more than 600 employees.
