This year’s Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) 2003 World Congress marks the return of many of the top-tier automotive suppliers to the show’s exhibition pavilion. The show, to be held in Detroit, MI, March 3 to 6, has seen declining participation in recent years among certain suppliers concerned about the growing costs of exhibiting. As well, some companies were dissatisfied with the show’s organization.
This year’s show features five supplier technology pavilions in a new format designed to provide higher visibility and crowd flow-through around exhibits. The companies returning to the show after absences include American Axle, DENSO, DuPont, Eaton, TRW, Valeo, Visteon and others.
The SAE World Congress is the world’s largest event focused on current and future automotive technology.
