RTP Company launches elastomer division

Winona, Minn.-based specialty compounder RTP Company has established a new thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) division.
The TPE division will be lead by general manager Scott Mumm.
“With our new TPE division, our focus is to establish RTP Company as the one-stop supplier of both rigid and TPE solutions,” said Mumm, a 20 year veteran of RTP. “We will also use ourcompounding experience to incorporate additional properties typically not found in traditional TPEs, such as conductive and wear resistant technologies.”
The company has also established a new research lab dedicated to product development.
Additional personnel appointed to the TPE division include Paul Killian, elastomer technical marketing manager; and Richard Rabe, elastomer technical manager.
