Royal names new CEO

Royal Group Technologies has named Lawrence Blanford president and chief executive officer, effective May 30. Blanford’s most recent position was president and CEO of Phillips Consumer Electronics North America. He will be named director following the company’s annual meeting on May 25. James Sardo has been Royal Group’s interim president and CEO since late November.
