Rehau Inc.’s plant in Baie d’Urfe, QC has received certification under the international environmental standard, ISO 14001. The ISO 14001 standard is the international standard for environmental management systems, addressing principles that help an organization minimize risk to the environment resulting from its operations and products. The Baie d’Urfe facility is the first Rehau plant worldwide to receive the certifications.
Rehau is a worldwide manufacturer of extruded and injection molded products for the construction and automotive industries.
"This highly coveted certification comes after many months of dedicated efforts and teamwork by personnel at the plant," says Laura Rau, environmental and health and safety specialist for Rehau.
