Profine Molds launches global expansion plan

In a move to better support a growing customer base, Mississauga, Ont.-based Profine Molds Inc. launched the first part of a multi-phase plan that will see the company’s presence expand in North America, Asia, South America and Latin America.
Phase One-North America will see the opening of Profine Molds’ new 5,574 square-metre global headquarters on August 8, 2005 in Oakville, Ont. The new headquarters will house all of Profine Molds’ operations, with expanded areas for research and development, manufacturing, engineering, product design, test cells and parts sampling stations.
Phase One-Asia included the opening of an application and sales office in Kowloon, Hong Kong on June 1, 2005 with manufacturing capabilities in the region. The operation will support the growing Asian market and allow Profine Molds to provide North American customers with an expanded range of competitive pricing options, according to the company.
