PolyOne wins supplier of the year honour

PolyOne Distribution has been named the Plastiflex Participations S.A. Supplier of the Year for 2006. Plastiflex is a global manufacturer of hose systems for floor care, pool, industrial and white goods application. The company is a manufacturer of crush-proof flexible plastic vacuum hoses, with operations in 10 countries. Plastiflex’s Canadian facility is located in Orangeville, Ont., manufacturing vacuum hose and accessories mainly for the central vacuum floor care market.

The criteria for the annual award included performance, on-time delivery, value-added services, responsiveness and product quality. PolyOne emerged on top of the 60 competing suppliers, with 97 per cent on-time delivery and eight months of reconciled consignment distribution accounts.

“Helping our customers succeed is a top priority for PolyOne, and we are determined to provide the highest level of service,” said PolyOne Distribution senior vice president and general manager Michael Rademacher.
