PolyOne names new VP/GM for North American division

Plastics compounder and resin distributor PolyOne Corporation has appointed John V. Van Hulle as vice president and general manager for its color and additive masterbatches North America division.
Van Hulle was formerly president and chief executive officer (CEO) of ChemDesign Corporation, based in Marinette, Wis.
“John brings to PolyOne proven leadership ability and a strong track record as a general manager,” Stephen D. Newlin, PolyOne’s chairman, president and CEO, said.
Headquartered in Avon Lake, Ohio, PolyOne has operations in Asia, the Americas, Australia, and Europe. The company’s Canadian operations are located in Valleyfield and St. Remi de Napierville, Que., and in Mississauga, Niagara Falls and Orangeville, Ont.
PolyOne reported 2005 annual revenues of approximately $2.5 billion.
