PolyOne named N. American distributor for MRC Polymers

Specialty polymer manufacturer PolyOne Distribution, a division of PolyOne Corporation, has been named the North American distributor for MRC Polymers.

MRC Polymers compounds post-industrial and post-consumer recycled plastics including polycarbonate (PC), PC blends, nylon, TPOs, and other engineering-grade resins.

“We recognize the value of this relationship with MRC Polymers, which substantially enhances PolyOne’s overall solutions portfolio by adding recycled resins,” said Michael L. Rademacher, senior vice president and general manager of Cleveland, Ohio-based PolyOne Distribution. “Further, these materials will help customers achieve sustainability goals through the use of recycled content in their products.”

With operations around the world, PolyOne Corporation reported annual revenues of US$2.7 billion in 2008.
